Walk into your next interview rehearsed, calm, and ready to answer the questions that actually decide it.
Most people prepare for interviews by reading about the company and hoping the rest comes together on the day. It rarely does. The thing that separates candidates isn't who's most qualified. It's who can explain their work clearly, handle a tough question without flinching, and give an interviewer a reason to remember them. That's a skill, and you can rehearse it.
Interview coaching with Guidanceforge is live, spoken practice. You answer real questions out loud, get honest feedback on what landed and what didn't, and rebuild your weakest answers until they hold up under pressure. It's deliberately separate from CV and LinkedIn work. Here the focus is entirely on the conversation, whether that's in the room or on a call.
Daniel is Malta-based and holds a Level 7 (MQF/EQF) Award in Coaching & Mentoring. He's also a senior technology leader, Director of AI Platform, DevOps & Cybersecurity at a Malta iGaming company, so he's sat on the hiring side of the table for competency and technical rounds. That's the perspective he brings: what interviewers in Malta's iGaming, fintech and tech sectors are listening for, and where good candidates lose them.
Competency questions, like "tell me about a time you handled a difficult stakeholder", reward structure over improvisation. We use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) so your answers have a clear shape and land the point instead of wandering. The common mistake is spending 90 seconds setting the scene and 10 seconds on what you actually did. We fix that balance and make sure every story ends on a concrete result. You'll build a small set of strong, reusable examples that flex to cover most of the behavioural questions an interviewer can throw at you, so you're never caught reaching for a story mid-answer.
Malta's stronger hiring sectors (iGaming, fintech and finance, tech, plus tourism, maritime and professional services) often run more than one round: a competency or behavioural conversation, and frequently a technical or role-specific stage. We prepare for both. For technical roles that means rehearsing how you talk through your reasoning out loud, not just whether you know the answer, because interviewers are assessing how you think. Many of these roles are international, so being able to explain your work eligibility and your reason for relocating, clearly and confidently, matters. We build that into your prep.
Two questions derail more interviews than any technical problem: what you're looking for on salary, and why you're leaving your current role. On pay, we work on a composed, researched answer that keeps your negotiating position intact rather than anchoring too low or dodging the question. On reason-for-leaving, we frame it honestly and keep it forward-looking, focused on what you're moving towards, without criticising a current or former employer, which interviewers always notice. You'll rehearse both until they feel routine instead of dreaded.
A large share of Malta roles, especially at international and relocating employers, start with a video interview. That's a different skill: eye line to the camera, a clean and quiet setup, managing the small delay in conversation, and keeping your energy up when you can't read the room. We cover the practical setup and rehearse on camera so it feels natural. The single most effective thing you can do before any interview is practise your answers out loud rather than in your head, so that's exactly what we do together: rehearsing your real answers live until they hold up under pressure on the day.
Rehearse the questions that decide the interview, before you're sitting in it.
Interview coaching is structured, live practice for job interviews. You rehearse real questions out loud, get honest feedback on your answers and delivery, and rebuild the weak ones until they're solid. Guidanceforge focuses this on the live interview specifically, separate from CV or LinkedIn work, for Malta-based and remote roles.

No, and be wary of anyone who promises that. No coach controls the hiring decision. What coaching does is improve your odds: clearer answers, better structure, and calmer delivery under pressure, so you present the strongest, most accurate version of yourself in the room.
STAR stands for Situation, Task, Action, Result. It's a way to structure answers to competency questions like "tell me about a time you..." so they stay clear and land on a concrete outcome. Most candidates over-explain the situation and rush the action and result; coaching fixes that balance.
Yes. Many Malta roles, especially at international employers, begin with a video interview. Sessions cover camera setup, eye line, managing conversational lag and keeping your energy up on screen, and we rehearse on camera so it feels natural on the day.
Yes, all interview coaching is online, by video call, so you can work with Daniel from anywhere. Video sessions are just as effective, and they let you rehearse in the same format many interviews now use.
