Terms of Service

The terms you agree to when you use Guidanceforge and book a service.

Who we are

Guidanceforge (“we”, “us”) provides career coaching in Malta and online worldwide. By booking a session or otherwise using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The services we provide

  • Coaching sessions: one-to-one career coaching, online by video call, including a genuinely free 15-minute discovery call with no obligation.

Coaching is guidance and support to help you make your own decisions. It is not a guarantee of any particular outcome (a job offer, promotion, salary, or result), and you remain responsible for the choices you make and the actions you take.

Booking, fees & payment

  • The discovery call is free. Paid sessions are priced as shown on the site at the time you book.
  • Payment for paid sessions is by Revolut after the session. We do not take card details on this website.

Cancelling & rescheduling

If you need to reschedule or cancel a session, let us know in advance and we'll find a new time that works for you.

Career guidance, not professional advice

Coaching is general career guidance, not legal, financial, medical, or immigration advice. For those, consult a licensed professional. Anything we discuss or prepare together is there to support your own decisions, not to replace specialist advice.

Acceptable use

Please use the service lawfully and in good faith. Don't attempt to disrupt, probe, overload, or reverse-engineer it, and don't use it to send unlawful, abusive, or infringing content. We may suspend access that breaches these terms.

Intellectual property

The site, its content, and the coaching materials we create are owned by Guidanceforge. You keep ownership of the materials you share with us (such as your CV) and of any notes or materials prepared for you in coaching, which you're free to use for your own career.

Confidentiality

What you share in coaching stays confidential, and materials you provide are handled in confidence. See the Privacy & Data Policy for how your data is stored and processed.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on our coaching. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under Maltese or EU law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Your right to cancel (cooling-off)

If you're a consumer in the EU/EEA, you generally have 14 daysto withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. If you ask us to start a service within that period, you agree we may begin, and if the service is then fully performed, the withdrawal right no longer applies; if you withdraw part-way, you pay for what's been provided. To withdraw, just email info@guidanceforge.com.

Eligibility & age

The service is intended for adults (18+). We're glad to coach students and younger people, but if you're under 18 a parent or guardian should arrange the booking and consent to it.

Complaints & dispute resolution

If something isn't right, email info@guidanceforge.comand we'll try to put it right quickly. If we can't resolve it, EU consumers can use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, and consumers in Malta can contact the Office for Consumer Affairs at the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and the courts of Malta have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be reflected here.
